Job summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston seeks an attending physician in Melanoma Medical Oncology to provide comprehensive patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will lead a teaching program for fellows, residents, and medical students while performing histories, physicals, and invasive procedures as required by subspecialty emphasis.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD and be licensed to practice in Texas.
• Experience in Melanoma Medical Oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care as attending physician in outpatient and inpatient Melanoma Medical Oncology.
• Take comprehensive history and perform physical examinations.
• Lead teaching for fellows, residents, and students rotating through Melanoma services.
• Perform invasive procedures as dictated by subspecialty requirements.
• Adhere to standards of the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and ACP.
• Engage in research activities and contribute to departmental committees.
