Job summary

Meissner is seeking a Technical Services Coordinator (Scientific Services) to organize and drive filter validation projects, quotes, and timelines in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and Lab Scientists. You will liaise among Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, and Physical Lab teams, quickly learning our product portfolio and pharma customer base.

The role is on-site at our Camarillo, CA headquarters, requiring a detail‑oriented, supportive, cross‑functional approach and strong

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in science or engineering.
  • Experience with biotechnology/pharmaceutical operations desired.
  • 2+ years operations, project coordination, or project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate filter validation and E&L requests, project quotations, timelines and follow through with Sales, Customer Service and Lab Scientists.
  • Serve as liaison between MTS Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry and Physical Lab departments and communicate with pharmaceutical customers.
  • Learn Meissner’s product portfolio and customer base through formal training and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Maintain lab customer correspondence, reports and results files.
  • Monitor and facilitate project deadlines; manage multiple priorities with urgency.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from internal and external customers and communicate via Teams, email and phone.

How you will make an impact:

Utilize your project management organizational skills and coordinate filter validation and E&L requests, project quotations, timelines and follow through in collaboration with Sales, Customer Serviceand MTS Lab Scientists for ahigh-throughputlabserving both our internal and external customers.The ideal candidate will serve asliaisonbetween MTS Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry and Physical Lab departments and communicate extensively with pharmaceutical customers.This role requires quickly becoming proficient with Meissner’s product portfolio and customer base through formal training, independent study, and collaboration with colleagues, while also gaining a working knowledge of company policies, culture, and manufacturing and business processes.Bringyour excellent interpersonal skills to work in this dynamic,cross-functional,customer-facingposition.

  • Interact with MTS scientists tocomprehendjob scope and team capacity.
  • Develop working knowledge and familiarity of how MTSparticipatesin and supports customer filtervalidationsrequests.
  • Useproject managementskills tocreateproject structures and timelinestoprioritizeprojectsandother inquiries.
  • Maintain and organize lab customer correspondence,reportsand results files.
  • Maintain project timelines: monitor progress across the team andfacilitateproject deadlines.
  • Administerthe MTS Validations email inboxand respond to routineinquiriesfrom both internal and external customers.
  • Communicate with pharmaceuticalcustomers,via Teams,emailand voice.
  • Identifyareas of improvement and develop initiatives to enhance MTS processes.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:
  • Bachelor's degree fromfour-year college or university, preferably in science orengineering.
  • Experience withbiotechnology /pharmaceutical operationsdesired.
  • 2+yearsoperations, project coordination, or project management experiencewith responsibilities spanningquality, technical, administrative, financial, contractualareas, or related field.
  • Must have strong aptitude to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent follow-up skills with customers, internal staff, and management.
  • Provide over-the-top customer service to internal and external clients and be able to always act in their bestinterest.
  • Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Must be proficient in mathematical applications such as logs, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
