Job summary

Meijer, a family retailer based in Michigan, is seeking an Overnight Cashier to deliver efficient checkout experiences with a friendly touch. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and promote Meijer programs in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate POS systems, process payments accurately, and maintain a clean lane while delivering a positive customer experience. Prior retail experience helps, but is not required. Must be 18+ and able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Asking for high school age and above; previous retail experience helpful but not required.
• Must be able to learn Meijer programs and promotions to assist customers.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods.

As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store.

You'll:

• Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers
• Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression

What You Bring:

• You're 18 years of age or older
