MultiCare Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Staff RN to join our hospital-based team. This role utilizes your specialized nursing training to deliver patient care through the nursing process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a WA RN license, BSN preferred, current BLS and various certifications as required, with at least one year of acute care experience; this position offers a daytime shift, 0.9 FTE and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required; ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols; evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of diverse patients.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.15 - $90.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
