Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an R&D Test Engineer contractor in Greenwood Village, CO to support Enabling Technology and Arthroscopy teams. You will drive functional evaluation of products in the pre-market lifecycle and prototype electromechanical test fixtures for design verification.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical design skills, CAD, fixture/jig design, sensor integration, and programming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• Fluent in English for technical communication.
• Experience in a regulated medical device environment and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and execute testing from experimentation to design verification.
• Develop and automate test methods and fixtures using latest tech.
• Design tests to measure requirements with automated fixtures and complex electromechanical setups.
• Document test methods, protocols, and test reports; draw conclusions from data.
• Collaborate with Design, Regulatory, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams.
