Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Project Engineer Co-Op/Intern for Spring/Summer 2027 to assist the Engineering group with design and development of spinal instruments and implants. You will work with Pro/E/Creo, collaborate with in-house shops and vendors, and support DHF documentation and project plans.

The role emphasizes hands-on design tasks, verification activities, and teamwork with engineers and surgeons.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software)
• Experience with Pro/E software for design and drafting preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong self-starting skills, well organized, detail-oriented and capable of working in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of spinal instruments and implants
• Design and drafting using Pro/E/Creo
• Coordinate with in-house prototype shop and outside vendors for rapid prototyping
• Support design verification and validation activities to ensure designs meet specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, surgeons, and vendors to ensure high quality products
