Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Engineer II in San Diego. You will contribute to the design, testing, and documentation of Tandem’s medical devices and fixtures, performing GD&T and tolerance analysis with SolidWorks.

Role requires 2+ years of product development in a regulated environment, strong communication, and data analysis skills. On-site in San Diego with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in mechanical or biomedical engineering or related field.
• 2 years of product development in a heavily regulated industry (medical device preferred).
• Experience with SolidWorks, GD&T, GDP, and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, testing, and debugging of medical devices.
• Manage design verification/validation and associated documentation.
• Perform mechanical design and tolerance analysis using SolidWorks.
• Coordinate external tests and vendor assessments.
