AMETEK is seeking a Co-Op/Intern to support engineering teams in the commercialization of medical devices for orthopedics. Three rotations—Design & Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering—provide exposure to product development, process creation, and quality improvement.

The role emphasizes strong technical foundation, communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly, with opportunities to work on multiple projects and participate in design control and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
• Strong technical foundation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• General understanding of human anatomy required.
• Understand how to apply GD&T.

Aufgaben

• Design & Development Engineer Rotation: conceptualizes, designs, and develops complex new products; assist on timelines, prototypes, testing, suppliers; may work on multiple projects; drives design issue resolution; research/material recommendations; document per design control procedures; assist with ISO/FDA compliance.
• Manufacturing Engineer Rotation: support DFM, Development of Device Master Record, process flows, value stream mapping, CTQ, pfEMA, risk mitigation, testing; CP development incl. inspection methodology; generate test protocols and reports.
• Quality Engineer Rotation: monitor/otalyze quality for NPD; support device design for inspection; participate in quality activities; generate gage designs; analyze data for trends; lead continuous improvement projects; may participate in audits.
