Job summary

ThriveMore is seeking a Medication Technician (MedTech) at its Taylor Glen location in North Carolina. The role involves safely administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining accurate documentation in a supportive assisted living environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, CNA certification, and completed medication aide training per NC guidelines. PRN schedule, non-exempt, and reporting to Healthcare Administrator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• CNA Certification and 24-hour Medication Aide training approved by the NC Board of Nursing recommended.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and document in medical records.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility.
• Maintain medication carts and storage areas securely, report discrepancies.
• Take and record vital signs, observe changes, and report to supervisor.
• Support meals, safety, infection control, and resident rights.
• Document accurately and participate in care planning and training sessions.
