Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a MedTech Clinical Educator RN to translate clinical expertise into practical training for hospital staff. You will educate RNs on hospital beds in the Medical‑Surgical unit and support medical device implementations through peer‑to‑peer education, without bedside care or sales duties.

Travel nationally, be within 1 hour of a major airport, hold an active RN license, and bring 1–2 years in Med‑Surg/ICU.

You will be responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses on hospital beds within the Medical‑Surgical unit.

Schedule

Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month required.

Required Qualifications

• RN Degree – Associate required, Bachelor's preferred.
• Active and unrestricted RN license required.
• Med‑Surg/ICU/Acute Care experience of at least 1‑2 years.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements.

Travel Requirement

Travel nationally to support customer needs. Driving is a business requirement; candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be located within 1 hour of a major airport. Travel time is paid.

Preferred Qualifications

• Med‑Surg, ICU, Critical Care or Acute Care experience of at least 2‑3 years.
• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn quickly and take initiative.
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with and managing hospital beds preferred.

Vaccine / Immunization / Hospital Credentialing Requirement

Individuals must complete healthcare facility credentialing and be up‑to‑date with the following immunizations: Measles, Mumps & Rubella; Varicella (chicken pox); Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test; Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap); Hepatitis B; Influenza (seasonal); and COVID‑19 vaccine primary series (boosters may be required by some facilities). Salary

The potential base pay range for this role is $35–$40 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses, or other forms of compensation may also be offered, in addition to a range of welfare and other benefits.
