Job summary

IQVIA in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an Experienced Quality/Regulatory Inspector willing to travel nationally each week to up to 3 sites. Position is a one-year opportunity with potential extension.

Responsibilities include weekly travel and a 40-hour workweek, with possible additional hours based on travel needs. 3+ years in Biomedical Technician or QA/regulatory roles, and ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Biomedical Technician or Quality/Regulatory experience.
• Experience documenting in a heavily regulated environment.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule and adaptability to travel.
• Must meet hospital Vendor Credentialing requirements.
• Up-to-date immunizations may be required.

Job description

Experienced Quality/Regulatory Inspector needed who’s willing to travel nationally each week. Number of weekly locations will differ but could include up to 3 separate sites. Previous related experience is required as well as a valid Driver’s License that is a Real ID. Currently looking at a one-year opportunity, with the chance of extension based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Weekly national travel with a maximum of 3 locations in a week.

Schedule:

• 40 hours/week
• Possibility for more depending on travel conditions.
• Should hours be less than 40 in a week due to scheduling and not applicant’s availability, IQVIA will provide supplemental hours to ensure a 40-hour timecard.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Biomedical Technician or Quality/Regulatory experience.
• Previous experience with documentation in a heavily regulated environment.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Must be able to function under a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to meet all requirements for each hospital Vendor Credentialing service.
• Position may/will require up to date immunizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Biomedical Technician experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with documentation in a heavily regulated environment.
• Experience with system auditing or software validation preferred.
• Experience with large data sets for validation preferred.
• Experience managing small teams to ensure quality work being completed preferred.
• Proven track record of customer service and client management.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Salesforce CRM
• History of traveling for work while meeting/exceeding expectations.
