Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for a PRN role to support patient care across the lifecycle, under the supervision of licensed staff. You will work with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy and demonstrate competency in clinical tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification. NA/PCT program completion is preferred and one year of patient care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program preferred.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment.
• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle in line with hospital policy.
