Wright State University seeks a Research and Instruction Librarian (Medicine) to support the Boonshoft School of Medicine within the University Libraries. The librarian delivers reference and instruction, collaborates with medical faculty, and builds information literacy programs to help students and researchers locate, evaluate, and organize information for learning, teaching, and scholarly activity.

Competenze

• ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS.
• Minimum three years of medical library experience or academic library experience supporting reference and instructional needs in the health sciences.
• Experience working with medical and/or graduate student populations.
• Experience with library research databases and literature searches.

Mansioni

• Provide general reference, instruction, and liaison services to the Boonshoft School of Medicine, affiliate faculty, and other academic areas as assigned.
• Collaborate with medical faculty to develop information literacy and instructional programs.
• Assist students, faculty, and staff in locating, evaluating, and organizing information for learning, teaching, and research objectives.
