Ivy Park at Roseville, part of Oakmont Senior Living, seeks a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medications for residents, and provide personal care. The role promotes activities and coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance aligned with our mission and values.

The successful candidate supports a compassionate elder care culture, complies with nursing standards, and participates in ongoing safety and health practices within a premier senior living community.

Qualificações

• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication in an RCFE
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent; LVN preferred
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines

Position: Medication Technician

Shifts, Time, and Days: PM, 2pm - 10pm, Friday and Saturday

Pay Range: $17-$18.50/hr.

The Medication Technician

The Medication Technician is responsible for supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents as ordered and in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the company. In addition, the Medication Technician will provide direct personal care, encourage residents to participate in activities, and work with housekeepers and maintenance staff in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.


• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• A high school diploma or equivalent; a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus.


• Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.


• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.


• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.


• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
