Job summary

Brookdale in Idaho seeks Med Techs/QMAPs to administer medications and assist with treatments for residents in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will observe responses to medications, maintain accurate medication counts, and coordinate with pharmacies. Brookdale provides opportunities for advancement to roles such as Resident Care Coordinators and Nurses within a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Based on state regulations and required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs administer or assist with self-administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications, communicating with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
