Job summary

Lifespace Communities is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents at Meadow Lake in Tyler, Texas. You will set up and administer medications under supervision, document care, and monitor residents’ vital signs in collaboration with a licensed nurse.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a state medication aide licensure, and related experience. This is an on-site position with an hourly pay range of $16.55–$22.72+, offering a team-focused, purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some directly related work experience preferred.
• Have and maintain medication aide licensure per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up medication for residents and administer medications under the direction and monitoring of a licensed nurse, following physician orders.
• Record and document all medication, treatment and care provided for residents.
• Take and record vital signs of residents.
• Prepare monthly summaries and assist with chart preparation for new residents.
• Respond to resident calls and requests; assist with activities of daily living.
