Columbia Cottage is seeking a caring Medication Technician / Caregiver for Palmyra, PA. Starting at $19.00/hour with benefits, part-time and flexible scheduling are available.

You will administer medications, assist residents with daily living activities, and monitor health conditions. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Medication Technician certification, CPR/First Aid, and experience in assisted living or healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medication Technician certification is required.
• Diabetes training is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Experience in assisted living, senior care, or healthcare is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications according to physician orders.
• Assist residents with taking medications safely and effectively.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Document all medication administration in MAR accurately.
• Obtain vital signs, blood glucose, and other ordered measurements.
• Provide encouragement, education, and emotional support to residents.
• Deliver hands-on care and assist with daily living activities.

Available Shifts

• Night 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

All positions include every other weekend and holiday requirement unless otherwise noted
