Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Med Tech for The Heritage Tomball community. You will administer medications, provide personal care, and support resident independence with dignity. Training and delegation are provided; CMA certification is optional.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience passing meds in a retirement community preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Caring, organized and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician under supervision of a nurse.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications.
• Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered.
• Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status; conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and cleanup.
