Brookdale in Tempe, AZ is seeking qualified Medication Aides/Techs (QMAPs) to administer and assist with medications under state regulations. The role offers pathways for advancement into Resident Care Coordinator and Nursing positions and features comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.

This position is posted for Saturday 6am-2pm, Sunday 6am-2pm, Monday 6am-2pm, Tuesday 2pm-10pm, and Wednesday 2pm-10pm with Thursday and Friday off.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
