Saber Healthcare Group is partnering with Green Leaf Care Center in Lillington, NC to hire Medication Aides who will administer prescribed medications under supervision and within scope of practice. The role emphasizes compassionate resident care in an assisted living setting.

The position requires current QMA registration, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic computer/EHR skills. FT/PT shifts are available, with wages based on experience and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Perform duties in accordance with established nursing standards and community policies.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety in accordance with state regulations.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides. The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.
