Sagora Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Med Tech to join our Prestonwood Court community in Plano, TX. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and support daily living activities under nursing supervision.

CMA certification is optional, with training and delegation provided. This role emphasizes teamwork, dignity, and independent living for residents across independent, assisted living, and memory care settings.

Formación

• Six months of experience passing meds in a retirement community preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Candidate must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ideal candidate is caring, organized, and able to multi-task.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and accurately record medications as prescribed under supervision of a nurse.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications and maintain inventory.
• Provide accounting for medications ordered, received, stored and administered.
• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Assist in daily tasks such as housekeeping, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents, serving, and cleanup.

What does a Med Tech at Sagora do?

• Administer and accurately record administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician(s) in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines under supervision of a nurse
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
• Manage supply of medications
• Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
• Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and clean up

What do you need to be a Med Tech?

• Six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting is preferred
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required
• Candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
