Job summary

Brookdale is recruiting Medication Aides/Techs to administer or assist with medications as prescribed and to observe patient responses under supervision.

You will maintain an organized medication supply room, assist with cart audits, and coordinate with pharmacies for deliveries. Training and state certification are required, with opportunities for growth within Brookdale’s extensive care network.

Qualifications

• Medication Aides/Techs administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications; communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
