Qualifications

• Experience as Medication Technician or QMAP preferred.
• Completion of required training/certification per state.
• Must meet licensure or certification standards for Brookdale communities.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medications as prescribed and report responses.
• Keep the medication supply room organized, assist with cart audits, and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Complete required training/certification as mandated by state regulations.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
