Brookdale is seeking Med Techs/QMAPs in North Carolina to administer medications and assist with patient care in accordance with state regulations and approved certifications.

Qualifications

• State-specific medication aide certification or training may be required.
• Completion of required training/certification per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Based on state regulations and required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and coordinate with pharmacies for medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
