Job summary

Fox Run at Orchard Park is seeking a Medication Technician to deliver routine daily medication to residents under supervision, coordinating with nurses to support resident care and medication administration. The role requires following written or verbal instructions and accurately recording dosages and times.

Requirements include NYS training completion or certification, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer/medical software skills.

Qualifications

• Medication Technician certification or ability to complete NYS training before start.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Med Tech experience preferred.
• Experience with assisted living preferred.
• Proficient with computers and medical software.

Job description

Under the general direction of the Program Coordinator and/or Charge Nurse, deliver routine daily medication to residents, coordinate with nurses to assist with resident care and medications, follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications and record dosages and times.

Requirements

• Medication Technician certification or must complete required NYS training prior to start date
• High School Diploma or GED
• Med Tech Experience Preferred
• Prefer prior experience with Assisted Living
• Able to use computer, medical software, and word processing programs.

Hourly range: $17.00 – $18.00 (depends on experience)
