Job summary

Lawrence Healthcare is seeking a Medication Technician/C.N.A in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to assist licensed nursing staff with preparing and administering medications as ordered by physicians. You will document in the electronic health record under supervision and respond to resident requests while performing direct care duties.

The role requires an active Arkansas C.N.A. license, completion of a state-approved CNA program, and Medication Administration certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and active C.N.A license in Arkansas, in good standing.
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
• Successful completion of state-approved Medication Administration and hold medication aide certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing staff by preparing and administering daily medications as ordered by the physician.
• Document within the electronic health record under supervision of the licensed nurse.
• Respond to resident requests and other direct care duties as assigned.
