Responsibilities

• Review medication safety event and adverse drug reaction reports to identify system improvements and educational needs.
• Proactively monitor safety alerts to identify best practices for evaluation and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with medication management standards and patient safety goals identified by accreditation and regulatory bodies.
• Develop or revise medication management policies and provide education on safe practices.
