Job summary

AdventHealth in Glendale Heights, IL, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to maintain proficiency across core and advanced pharmacy workflows. You will support ADC systems, cleanroom/compounding, diversion prevention, informatics, and medication history while ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities include collaboration with leadership, clinical teams, and IT to optimize workflows, participate in audits, and contribute to specialty program outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years contemporary hospital pharmacy experience.
• Current Registered Pharmacy Technician license (RPhT) or national certification (CPhT) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proficiency in all Tech IV functions and covers core pharmacy tasks.
• Executes specialty duties with mastery across workflows and provides expert support.
• Leads training and ensures compliance with regulatory standards in specialty areas.
• Supports cross-campus initiatives and collaborates with IT, compliance, and clinical teams.
• Participates in audits, documentation, and continuous quality improvement.
