Job summary

Lakeview Health Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to support residents in a structured setting in Ithaca, NY. The role includes monitoring self-administration of medications, counseling on mental health and substance use concerns, and ensuring compliant documentation.

You will work under supervision to guide daily living skills, participate in trainings, and uphold agency policies while serving clients with compassion and respect.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with five (5) years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree in human services or related field with three (3) years of experience; one (1) year of residential experience preferred.
• Health care experience preferred. Valid NYS Driver’s License is an essential function.
• Knowledge of Mental Health issues, Substance Use concerns and Psychiatric Rehabilitation model.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and monitoring related to self-administration of medications.
• Counsel and aid individuals with Mental Illnesses and Substance Use concerns in daily living skills.
• Conduct audits on medication and RC documentation and address findings with RCs and Assistant Manager.
• Monitor staff oversight of medications and document changes in medications.
• Provide new hire training around medication oversight.
• Communicate with providers around medication orders and changes.
• Ensure accurate documentation according to policies and procedures.
• Participate in required meetings and trainings and adhere to OMH policies.
