Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Medication Assistant for Assisted Living on a part-time schedule. The role covers medication support, documentation, and daily activities across AL and Memory Care residents, with on-site responsibilities in a Phoenix setting.

Compensation starts at USD 19.50 per hour with part-time evening shifts. Benefits include health options, 401(k), PTO, and paid daily pay options. Vaccination is encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document medication usage in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in Advanced Living (AL) and possibly Memory Care with ADLs, vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with health professionals.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, requests, and hazards in a timely, safe manner.

Schedule: Part‑Time, Thursday 2 pm‑10 pm

Responsibilities

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document medication usage in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in Advanced Living (AL) and potentially Memory Care with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with outside health care professionals as necessary.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• Calm, helpful, and respectful demeanor appreciated.
