Medication Assistant, Assisted Living - Full Time

Join us at Westview at Ellisville Assisted Living and Memory Care as a Medication Assistant, Assisted Living - Full Time.

About the Role

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs.
  2. Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record.
  3. Assisting residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, providing first aid, wound care, and communicating with healthcare professionals as necessary.
  4. Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining areas.
  5. Responding promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards.
Qualifications

To be successful, you should have:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • All state educational requirements for the position.
  • CPR certification (preferred).
  • Experience working with elderly populations (preferred).
  • A calm, helpful, and respectful demeanor.
