Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC. is seeking a dedicated team member to support residents' medication needs and daily living activities in our Missouri community. This full-time role offers diverse shifts and the chance to make a real difference in seniors' lives.

You will document care in the Medication Assistance Record, assist with transport, and respond to emergencies with calm professionalism. CPR certification is preferred, and prior elder care experience is valued; High School diploma

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs.
• Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assisting residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with ADLs, vital signs, and wound care.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and hazards promptly and safely.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. 7am-3pm, 3-11pm, & 11pm-7am,varied weekdays and every other weekend.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs
• Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record
• Assisting residents in Assisted Living and potentially Memory Care, with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with outside health care professionals as necessary
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
