Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Medication Aide per state laws.
• Minimum high school education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures governing medication administration to residents.
• Note and report errors in the administration of medications.
• Document and chart medications accurately and promptly.
• Verify resident identity before administering medications.
• Maintain proper labeling and secure storage of medications.
