Cascadia Senior Living in Olympia, WA is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to care for residents, administer and assist with medications, and support daily living activities. You will document treatments, coordinate with the care team, and ensure dignity and safety in every interaction.

The role requires CNA/HCA licensure, medication pass certification, and current First Aid/CPR. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential for charting and coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/HCA license in good standing.
• English literacy and communication skills.
• Medication pass certification per state requirements.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Food Handlers card current.
• Criminal background and fingerprint check required.
• Basic computer skills and office equipment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administered medications per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medication/treatment records for each resident.
• Record and report narcotics and any medication discrepancies.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacy, and families as needed.
• Provide direct resident care and assist with ADLs when required.
• Greet residents and maintain dignified, confidential care.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Keep medication room clean and organized; restock as needed.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; perform other duties as assigned.
