Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living is seeking a Personal Care Medication Aide & Caregiver to support residents in a night, evening, or PRN capacity. This role distributes medications, provides daily care, and supports social activities within the household.

The position emphasizes resident advocacy, safety, and overall wellbeing, with opportunities for varied schedules and shift differentials. Qualifications include being 21+, high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of approved medication

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience working with seniors preferred

Compensation from $15.00 - $17.00/hr - (based upon experience) – PLUS additional shift differentials

FULL TIME NIGHT, PART TIME EVENING, and PRN | Occasional Weekends and Holidays

The Personal Care Medication Aide & Caregiver is responsible for distributing medications and treatments to our residents. This position also performs the general duties and responsibilities of the household caregiver. The medication aide provides medical and physical care to the residents of the household to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level.

This position is the resident’s closest advocate in the household. As a caregiver, this role promotes the resident’s psychosocial wellbeing and works with the household team to meet other social service resident needs. This role plans and facilitates social activities for residents of the household which provide meaningful ways to spend time as recreation, exercise, relationship building and fun. This role also supports the household homemaker in maintaining a clean safe household environment and in caring for the residents’ personal laundry.
