Full-Time | Part-Time | All Shifts Available


We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to safely administer medications and support resident care under the direction of nursing leadership. This role is critical to resident safety, accuracy, and overall quality of care.

Responsibilities


  • Prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered by the physician

  • Verify resident identity prior to medication administration

  • Observe residents to ensure medications are taken as directed

  • Accurately document medication administration and any refusals or concerns

  • Monitor medication supplies and report needs to nursing leadership

  • Maintain accurate narcotic counts and report discrepancies immediately

  • Report medication errors or adverse reactions promptly

  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and state regulations

  • Assist with CNA duties as needed and within scope


Qualifications


  • Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

  • Active CPR certification

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Dependable, organized, and team-oriented

  • Ability to work independently while following clinical direction


Physical Requirements


  • Standing and walking for extended periods

  • Lifting, pushing, or pulling residents or equipment as needed

  • Bending, stooping, and reaching
