Job summary

Qualifications

• Two to three years of current experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience with Medi-Cal billing and hospital-based billing workflows.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely billing and follow up for all acute care Medicare claims.
• Review and resolve credit balances; handle denials and rejections daily.
• Input accurate data into Excel; pull data for audits and special projects.
