Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Dashboard Developer to support CMS data initiatives. You will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, collaborating with analytics and management to translate requirements into visual insights.

You will convert raw data into compelling visuals, ensure data accuracy, and train end users on dashboard interaction. 40-hour weeks; remote options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid programs is required.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Tableau or similar dashboard platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and large datasets.
• Ability to create data visualizations to illustrate trends.
• Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards for dashboards.
• Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript; able to interact with web visuals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and managers to gather requirements.
• Convert raw data into compelling dashboards to support decision making.
• Maintain and update dashboards; train end users on interaction best practices.
• Perform quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy.
• Present monthly visualizations at large meetings.
