Avant Specialty Benefits in Kansas City is seeking a Medicare Licensed Sales Agent to join our growing team as we expand into the Medicare and Senior Health market through employer and broker partnerships. This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in Medicare sales, educate consumers on Advantage, Supplement, and Part D options, and guide them through enrollment with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health Insurance License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1+ years of insurance or sales experience; Medicare experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills; customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to learn complex Medicare product information quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative Medicare sales through inbound and outbound calls.
• Educate consumers on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plan options.
• Guide prospects through enrollment with patience and expertise.
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of all client interactions and follow up as needed.
• Comply with Medicare regulations and company policies.
