Job summary

WM (Waste Management) in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Medical Waste Route Driver to service assigned accounts with professional waste pickup and supply delivery, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role may involve transporting waste between WM locations or customer sites to transfer or processing facilities.

You will follow DOT rules, use routing software, and maintain vehicle readiness. A valid Driver's License and clean driving record are requested, with on-the-job training and growth

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience, preferably in driving box trucks and route management.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• All CMV drivers must obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned routes to ensure timely, safe waste pickup and service.
• Transport waste from WM locations or customer sites to transfer or processing locations.
• Complete paperwork legibly and accurately, including DOT logs where applicable.
• Use routing software and Geotab/ELD to log hours per DOT guidelines.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for route changes and customer needs.
