Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Easton, PA is hiring a Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment facility. You will check in containers, verify paperwork, move containers, and operate a forklift to load an autoclave. The role requires comfort with repetitive tasks, good weight-recording, PPE use, and reliability on night shifts.

The position offers full-time hours (40/wk) with benefits from day one, potential overtime, and non-seasonal stability as an essential service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifting 50lbs to 75lb containers).
Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening.
Willingness to take a 7 year background check.
Basic math and ability to read/record weights.
Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE.
Proven longevity with employers.
Job stability in essential healthcare service.
Overtime opportunities.
Consistent work hours - Monday to Friday 3rd Shift (11PM-7AM).

Responsibilities

Check in containers and verify paperwork.
Move/unload waste containers and operate a forklift to load autoclave.
Maintain safety and PPE compliance during processing.
Record weights and ensure accuracy of weighbridge data.
Support the healthcare waste treatment workflow while upholding quality standards.
