Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a dependable Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment facility in Sturtevant, WI. You will work hands-on with autoclave equipment, Washsmart sanitization systems, and forklifts to ensure safe processing and documentation throughout each shift.

The role emphasizes physical, active work in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Overtime opportunities and a full-time position are available on the 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday,

Qualifications

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 lbs and move materials throughout shift.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and walking during 8+ hour shifts.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential in a non-seasonal essential service environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh, and process incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers.
• Operate the autoclave system for medical waste treatment.
• Load and operate the Washsmart container sanitization system.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as trained.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate processing records.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
