Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Plant Operator at our Shakopee, MN facility. The role involves weighing medical waste containers, loading autoclave equipment, recertifying drums, and handling universal waste with proper PPE.

You will lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and follow strict procedures to ensure safe operations. Ideal candidates bring experience in industrial or warehouse settings, reliability, and a can-do attitude.

Formación

• Experience in a labor-intensive industrial or warehouse setting.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Comfortable working around medical waste with PPE and following safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers using the weighbridge.
• Load and operate the autoclave machine (waste treatment equipment).
• Recertify 55-gallon drums for safe reuse.
• Count universal waste and add them to manifests.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and handle 55-gallon drums throughout the shift.
• Stand for extended periods in a non-office, industrial setting.
• Follow written processes and safety procedures every time.
• Complete paperwork accurately and double-check counts and labels.
• Spot and report issues with containers, paperwork, or equipment right away.
• Work closely with teammates and supervisors to keep the plant running smoothly.
• Help train others once competent in specific tasks.
