Job summary

Luna Companies seeks an experienced medical executive to oversee all medical services, including primary and specialty care, behavioral health integration, and care coordination. You will partner with the CEO to develop strategic initiatives, champion value-based care, and lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinicians.

This role requires an MD/DO, board certification, active license, and 5–7 years in clinical leadership, preferably in FQHC or community health settings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care.
• Active, unrestricted medical license.
• Minimum 5–7 years of clinical experience; 3+ years in progressive medical leadership roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of all medical services, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral health integration, and care coordination.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Champion value-based care, population health management, and health equity initiatives.
• Lead provider recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and retention strategies.
• Represent the organization with community partners, hospitals, health systems, and public agencies.
