Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' wellbeing and recovery. Every day you will lever your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You will collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team to focus on optimal patient outcomes.

• Adheres to the department’s and hospital’s policies and procedures, including safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Administers, oversees and documents medication administration, including topically, orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously and intravenously, as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy.
• Assesses patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs; gathers data for patient care; implements appropriate interventions and evaluates outcomes; plans care based on ongoing assessments; prepares patient for discharge and coordinates post‑discharge needs.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and competence, using available communication tools/materials effectively and understanding how patient cultures influence care and collaboration.
• Engages in professional growth opportunities; maintains self‑accountability for mandatory deadlines.
• Documents care delivered and patient status using the nursing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and execution of physician orders.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license, Washington State, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR certification through the American Heart Association, upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• One year of related work experience in an acute care setting.
