OhioHealth in Mansfield, OH is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our Core Lab. You will deliver accurate, timely test results for diagnosis and patient care, operate automation and manual methods, and ensure quality control with instrument maintenance.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field, ASCP or AMT certification, and outstanding customer service. Day shift, 40 hours weekly, with a commitment to safety and continuous learning.

Job Description Summary:

Accurate, precise, and timely patient test results for the diagnosis and management of human illness. Utilize automation and computerization, and manual methods. Responsible for quality control and instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Handle blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid and other body fluids. Specimens may be contaminated with infectious diseases including HIV and other blood borne pathogens.
