Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Director and Manager, the Medical Technologist is responsible for providing efficient and accurate analysis of specimens processed in the clinical laboratory to provide for quality patient care services.
Bachelors degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited college or university.
1 – 3 years in clinical laboratory preferred.
ASCP certification or equivalent.
Knowledge and skills to perform procedures in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, Limited Microbiology, point-of-care, and Phlebotomy skills.
