Job summary

Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform, calculate, record, and report laboratory analyses across blood bank, serology, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, histology and urinalysis for patient treatment.

Required education includes a B.S. in Biological Science with ASCP certification; experience is preferred, but not required. Full-time with an evening shift (40 hours) additional details per hospital policies.

MAIN FUNCTION: Performs, calculates, records, and reports laboratory analysis in multiple sections of the laboratory such as blood bank, serology, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, histology and urinalysis for the purpose of treatment and disease.

EDUCATION: B.S. in Biological Science; ASCP Certified Medical Technologist.

EXPERIENCE: Experience preferred, but not required.

SCHEDULE: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday, Evening Shift
