This well-established, state-of-the-art, 500-bed acute care hospital is looking for a permanent, full-time Medical Technologist (Med Tech).

Job Description :

• Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the clinical laboratory
• Assists in instructing other personnel as assigned
• Performs clinical laboratory tests and procedures requiring independent judgment and responsibility

Responsibilities :

• Show competency in performing testing procedures
• Effectively operate laboratory equipment
• Perform and evaluate Quality Control programs
• Assist with laboratory training programs

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree
• NCA, ASCP, HEW, or AMT certification
• 1 year of general lab experience or equivalent clinical laboratory training
