Job summary

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) for a Full-Time, permanent direct hire in a hospital laboratory setting.

The role involves performing a variety of tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood bank, with a focus on accuracy and patient care. The ideal candidate will hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, ASCP certification preferred, and hospital-lab experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field required.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lab procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood bank tests.
• Analyze results to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Perform quality control and proficiency testing.
• Follow safety, regulatory, and documentation procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to support patient care.
